The Material Culture of the American Academy of Religion

AARtifacts is a project of the REL 502: Public Humanities and Religious Studies Foundations course, part of the Religion in Culture master's degree in the Dept. of Religious Studies at the University of Alabama

In REL 502 students learn digital tools for sharing their research with a public audience. Students built AARtifacts as they learned to use Omeka to buid a digital colection. This collection contains a number of items related to the American Academy of Religion, the largest scholarly organization for the academic study of relgion in North America, and its annual meeting. Use the menu in the upper right corner to browse the various collections and items.
